ABOUT PRACTICE

I founded Ellen Perina Architecture & Interiors in 2024, after over 22 years of experience working on projects across Australia and Europe. My career has spanned collaborations with some of Sydney’s most esteemed firms - FJC, Turner, and Cottee Parker Architects - leading to the establishment of my own practice, where I specialise in both full architectural services and interior design.

At the core of my practice is a commitment to creating spaces that resonate deeply with the people who inhabit them and the landscapes they belong to. Each project begins with a deep understanding of its context - the qualities of light, material, and form that shape it. From this foundation, I craft spaces that are both elegant and enduring, thoughtfully responding to the needs of those who will live, work, or gather within them.

As both a registered architect and a registered design practitioner (architectural), I bring a thorough understanding of complex regulatory frameworks, particularly in the context of NSW building regulations. My focus on design integrity ensures that high-end aesthetics are both reliable and lasting, with careful attention to all crucial elements.

I believe architecture is about the experience of being within a space - how it makes us feel, how it connects us to the environment, and how it enriches our lives over time.
